"The Rich Effect" is the idea that one artist’s project creates a space for others to hone their craft. This 20-minute documentary follows Jade Rich’s year-long journey from Perth to the US, navigating ADHD, anxiety, and chasing a dream 9,000 miles from home.

Directed by Kori Reay-Mackey, this film captures the raw reality of co-writing. From a Brooklyn meet-up with "Crash Into You" co-writer Ross Newhouse to battling self-doubt with Mischa Mandel and Lauren Rintoul, the journey shifts into the infectious spontaneity of Flo Mavridorakis, Armando Mandicimo, Jonah Elias Rinder, and Roe Kapara, before unlocking a liberating, inner-child creativity with Stephen Beerkens to write an album's worth of songs.
